Shasta Roller Derby is proud to give back to our community through donations, volunteer work, and partnerships with a variety of local non-profits. You’ll find us supporting events like One SAFE Place’s Annual Crab Feed as well as hosting community-driven activities throughout the year.

As we gear up for an exciting season, Shasta Roller Derby is seeking sponsors to help us return to competition and grow our league. Your sponsorship directly supports:

• Practice space rental and insurance premiums.
• Home game expenses, including venue rental, announcers, referees, and EMTs.

Shasta Roller Derby is a member of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), which means we compete and rank nationally with other leagues. We host games and scrimmages at the Shasta District Fairgrounds in Anderson, CA, and travel to other teams throughout the Pacific Northwest to play. We’ve traveled as far as east Arizona and have been invited to Texas to compete this year! We host an annual mixer in August with 80+ roller derby players from all over the Northern CA and Oregon areas. With profits from our home games, we donate a portion of that to other local non-profit organizations that we feel have similar values to our own. 

SRD continues to advance its mission to actively foster and sustain a community of roller derby through exceptional sportsmanship, strong athleticism, and goodwill. Our aim is to empower individuals within our community by challenging them mentally and physically, both on and off the track.

As a non-profit, we gladly accept a donation in form of gift card(s) or products from businesses. All donations made to SRD are used to help defer the costs of maintaining our facility, helping with travel costs, uniforms, and other league necessities.
